Have you ever wanted something and you couldn’t imagine going a day without it? Then that is your passion right there. Each one of us is “wired” differently. So, passion can be anything from playing the piano, singing, playing football, doing business, car racing, building new things, teaching or a million other things out there. We all have a purpose in life and cannot be the same. We all have our own special talents and cannot be good at everything. Nothing is impossible when we have the commitment and we are ready to put in the work required inorder to succeed.

Lets point out the importance of identifying your passion.
· Passion is a reason for greater success in your life
If you ask successful people the reason for their success they will always say it starts by identifying and doing what you love. Identifying your passion allows you to unlock your natural born talents. You will put much effort in trying to succeed in what you are not good at and probably still fail.
When you wake up to do what you love doing then, your job stops begin work to you but fun. Therefore, increasing your chances of success in whatever you are doing.
You have a chance to be not only successful at it but also making a difference in your field, your community and the world. When you are successful, you have an opportunity to help others around you succeed. Without passion, it is difficult to realize success in anything.
It takes a lot of hard work to be a millionaire but passion will help you remain focused on your goals and overcome challenges and difficulties that may arise along the way. You will wake up early to practice your art or sport and you will attend trainings and seminars inorder to succeed.
With passion comes greater concentration in your work. You will have a positive attitude towards your work and make little to zero errors when performing your duties and responsibilities.
Have you ever realized how the world presents to you greater and more possibilities and opportunities in your line of interest when you are focused and you have a positive attitude? You will gain the world from the excitement you present and offer to the world.
As you continuously succeed and conquer every challenge your self esteem and confidence also grows. You will educate others, be an inspiration to all people and you will make a positive contribution in your field.
As you follow your passion and purpose in life you will be serving in a niche for which you were meant to serve. You will be using your potential to the maximum and growing your talent. Soon riches and wealth will follow and life will become more and more meaningful and fulfilling. I have two examples for you here.

· Time is a limited resource
Time is the one resource we never can recover once it is gone. We all have the potential
to be successful if we follow our passion and once we are successful others after us will get to learn our stories and follow our stories. When you are gone it is only your story that will remain.
Like sand through the hour glass, so are the days of our lives. Time and days are always slipping away; so ignore all distractions, negative energies and thoughts. Passion will always make you make good use of your precious time. Everything you set out to do each day will be a step towards a set goal. You will spend your time trying to grow your talent and training others. You will find the need to share your love for your passion. You will also find the need to positively contribute in your community and help others to also grow. You will leave behind a legacy.
As you grow and continuously improve on our talents you will be more tolerant and willing to share our talent with people with similar talents around you. You will work with others with different talents and find life to be more meaningful and fulfilling. This way you will be contributing to making a difference in the world.
By identifying and following your passion, you will be doing what matters most to you and what gives you a sense of accomplishment and pride therefore, giving your life a sense of meaning and making your life worth living.
· With passion you never get to say DIE
Every business has a low season, a time when business is low and a high season when you are very busy. It could be the holiday seasons, cold seasons, hot seasons, rainy seasons, when schools are open or when schools are closed. During a year, a low season is the time when the business receives the fewest customers. A high season on the other hand is when the business receives many customers. During the high season, you may be required to put in more time into the business. You may also be required to work beyond your duties. When you are passionate about what it is you do, you will have no trouble putting in the extra time and effort required for the business to be successful.
If you are passionate about your work, then working late becomes an enjoyment. It becomes much easy working through the extra hours. Even after the extra hours put at work, you will probably feel energized and good about yourself.
You will work hard to overcome any obstacles lying ahead of you in accomplishing a given task.
Once you develop the habit of not letting obstacles hinder your progress then success is guaranteed. Let me point out two examples here.

He has judged on the British TV talent competition series Pop Idol, The X Factor, and Britain's Got Talent, and the American TV talent competition shows American Idol, The X Factor, and America's Got Talent. He then found a job with BMG as an A&R consultant, and set up S Records under BMG. He restarted his career in the music business by creating Novelty records with acts such as the world famous World Wrestling Federation (WWF) now World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll is popularly known by her stage name Shakira. Shakira is a Colombian singer, songwriter, dancer, businesswoman, and philanthropist. Born and raised in Barranquilla, she began performing in school, demonstrating Latin American, Arabic, and rock and roll influences and belly dancing abilities. Shakira's first studio albums failed to attain commercial success in the 1990s. She never gave up on her dreams and rose to prominence in Latin America with her major label debut in 1996, and her fourth album in 1998. As at 2001, she had sold over 10 million albums in Latin America alone.
· Passion is a reason for your growth in life
We all have set goals in life. If these goals are aligned to our passions then time becomes a valuable resource in achieving our goals.
You will find yourself developing and sticking to habits that can help you realize your goals.
Passion will help you come up with new ways, strategies and ideas to realizing your goals.
You will seek information, join training sessions, join seminars and take up more training session’s inorder for you to achieve your goal.
As you keep growing your talent and succeed in achieving your goals, you also get to grow your confidence. You will work harder on completing and even exceeding your goals. You will take up more challenging ventures, tasks and duties.
Passion makes you more productive at work, motivating you even through the failures.
Passion is naturally a growth pattern. As you continuously use your talents and work to develop your skills even further your passion is continuously growing. You will always be steadily growing, always thinking, being creative and developing new ideas, developing new strategies, coming up with new directions and perspectives. This process never ends until such a time when you stop or give up on your passion.
Passion allows you to visualize your goals, understand your goals better and plan on how to succeed.
To achieve and accomplish anything great you have to develop a passion for whatever you are interested in. Passion will give you the strength, energy, motivation and focus to eventually succeed even as you continuously seek to develop your skills. You will come out as an expert in your field as people notice and take interest in your skills and talent. People will look for you seeking your knowledge, expertise and skills. Then what will follow next after all the popularity gained is more opportunities for you to show case your skills and talent and to excel even further.
Over time, your passion allows you to develop special skills. Skills you probably did not have and skills you probably never thought you would have. Passion helps you to develop a problem solving attitude and problem solving skills. You took the risk to follow your passion and made a wise decision to never give up. With time, you will have developed a problem solving attitude. Passion is the only thing that will have gotten you this far, prepared you for the tough road ahead and even seen you succeed.
Passion will also inspire creativity and imagination. Creativity in problem solving, business management, product development, customer service and marketing and in all other business departments.

· With passion your happiness in life is guaranteed
Don’t you always hate yourself whenever you are doing what you hate or completely do not like. Doing what you are passionate about and love makes you feel good about yourself, right? You have happy thoughts that are positive and futuristic.
Even the small battles that you get to win feel like you won the world war because you put in all your soul and heart to it.
Let nobody ever cheat you. This is a fact and the only truth that is out there in the world. Genuine happiness comes from identifying and following your passion. You will know it once you get to feel it and truly live for it. So go ahead and seek that which makes you happy and never forget what gets you happy and how you got there.
Following your passion will make you happy and happiness will make you physically healthy. Don’t you want that for yourself? Don’t you want to be healthy and free of the never ending anxiety, constant headaches, stomach upsets and constant visits to your doctor that can be very expensive for you in the end? Following your passion gives you greater control of your life.
Following your passion will not only be physically healthy but also mentally healthy for you. You will be happy getting up from bed each day knowing you are going to do what you love all day and looking forward to the day. Since your aim will be getting the best results, you will concentrate better at work and always look forward to giving your best at work.
Always remember that happiness is contagious. You can spread happiness to the person right next to you. If you always keep a positive attitude about yourself and life and you are most of the time happy, your spouse, family, friends and other people around you will general be happy also. They will also have a positive attitude towards life, like you.
When you are contented and satisfied with your job, you are happy with yourself and your life. You can relate better with family, friends and customers without having them deal with your frustrations in your work. Your relationships are always negatively affected when your work is not aligned to your life’s purpose. Most of the time these relationships even fall apart and marriages end up in divorces. Friends and colleagues will stay away from you once they realize just how dull you have become.
Following your passion will lead you to concentrate on your natural talents. Even when the basic needs which are food, clothing and shelter are fulfilled, you will reach a level of self actualization where you will have met your full potential as an individual.
When you have passion, money will not be your driving force. Achieving the best results and outcome will instead be your driving force. You will not be forced to get up in the morning and go to work. When you have no love for your work, the ambition soon dies out, the joy for your work dies out, you stop being creative and eventually hate your job. When you have to spend most of your time and life at work why should you have to live and waste your life on a false ambition and a false sad future? Won’t you rather spend your life doing what you love? When you love what you do, you will do it better and probably be paid more to actually do it.
A feeling of fulfillment and success is priceless. You will be happy once you realize the feeling of fulfillment in whatever you do.
Soon enough you will have to give way for the next younger generation to take charge. The feeling of satisfaction whenever you look back at your life and accomplishments is priceless. When you follow your passion you will be happy and satisfied with your life. You will be happy you left something great and meaningful for the next generation. You will have left a story and expertise they can learn from and gain meaningful experience.
Passion enables others to trust you because you develop perfection and honesty in your everyday duties and responsibilities. You are always keen not to make mistakes. You are also keen not to hurt or create distrust amongst colleagues and customers.
Even when life may not always be perfect you can be joyful that you get to know yourself, improve on yourself and live your life’s purpose each day. The toughness built because of being passionate and having a sense of purpose in life will help you live a longer, healthier and happier life.
There you are! Passion is clearly a strong and important energy for each one.
